Journal Of A Guppy Fry

This is just a little bit of fun for me, I've kept many fish, but guppies are my firm favorite, I know others may find them a little boring or for beginners, but for me there is nothing more rewarding than watching that tiny fry grow into a beautifully coloured healthy fish, especially when you dont know what colours they will be.

I fancied a little photographic journey watching one little group of fry grow into adulthood.

One Day Old

Hi everyone, i'm fry, I was born yesterday May 2nd, so i'm one day old, but already I can swim around the tank & I eat everything I can get my fins on.

This is my mum, isnt she pretty, she gave birth to 36 babies including me, yikes!:

I now live in a litte tank with all of my brothers & sisters:

i'm being well fed twice a day, in the morning I get live microworms which are my favorite & at teatime I get a dry mix of powdered flake & freeze dried bloodworm which my human mum says smells disgusting

I will be back in a few days to show you how big i've grown
