Heee...
Hope to see the way you position it soon![]()
the rest of my order came from ae i got some bacter100, tourmaline b c, and clear super, these will go under my substrate when i get started.
Excellent job with the trimming of the hood I agree much better. Can't wait to see the progression. Very nice tank.![]()

That's a lot of plants
I think the Hemianthus micranthemoides would look brilliant as a foreground plant in a tank that size.
Goodluck, looks like you've really thought about your plant choice.
Great tank John i actually saw it when i went to pick mine up a few days before you got yours.
In terms of the plants are you planning on using all those plant long term or will you remove some after you got over any initial algae problems? as although its a large tank there are imo still a lot of plants, and you scape could look a bit dutch, with some nice wood (don't know if that’s the look your going for). Plus its gonna need a lot of scissor action. You could use some more rosette type plants swords, vallis, larger crypts... I think this would be of benefit to the scape and you scissor hands.
Look forward to its progression,
Regards
i like the shop anyway, i am having such a hard time trying to decide what plants to choose but my main thing is to try and beat any algae probs.I will swap and change things as the plants mature to get the look i want, something along the lines of a concave effect.(says he )It is a great shop, this is my second tank i've got from them is 38"x15"x23" you can see it here, its been set up for over a week now but i still keep adjusting the layout.
i wouldn't trust the post especially with lights the onesi ordered for my tank (not from wharf) cost £7 for special p+p and they still arrived broken, they sent replacements though which were ok.
