This morning when i looked at my tank I saw a few pest snails in the tank so i got rid of them, I looked again just now and i can see a string of what looks like clear jelly eggs and tthese are dotted around on the glass.

Are these pest snail eggs? if so how do i get rid of the eggs. I do have a lot of apple snailsl in the tank, will they eat the eggs?

They're the pest snail eggs. Just get an old ID/credit card and scrape them off the glass. The eggs also appear on plants and decor so you can kindof scratch them off with your fingernail if that happens.

I just phoned my dad to see what he thought and he said they might be swordtail eggs, but i thought they would have laid on the plants? now i'm in two minds to what they are and i dont want to kill them if they are fish eggs. ::dunno::

Looking at your sig, its either neon eggs or snail eggs. Since I have no idea what tetra eggs look like, yes, you might as well leave them.

no offense, but it is very unlikley your neons bred :/
the rest of the fish you have are live bearers(meaning they give birth to live young like humans)
so its most probably the snails

id say snail eggs they breed al the time...if they are snail id get rid of them before ur overrun but if ur not sure leave them and wait and see

I honestly didn't know that swordtails were live bearers! wow that makes things easier for me now lol I was dreading it if they laid eggs cause i don't have a tank to put the fry in.

Makes it easier? Livebearers breed like crazy!
Do you have females and males, or just one sex?

I agree with everyone else though.... they are almost certainly snail eggs.
