well im thinking of finally ditching my nutrafin and getting a pressurized set up off ebay. im wondering if jbj and milwaukee are comparable or if one is better. also if anyone knows where i can get one for under 80usd shipped id appreciate a link.

^^^Same here............i do know one of them comes with a check valve included (a valve to stop water flowing back into the regulator) and the other does not, which one it is i do not remember im sure you could check it out easy enough, a check valve will usually cost about $20 so add that on as extra if you buy the regulator without it.

thanks guys. i havent been round for a while, but things seem ok. i stupidly removed a couple of big older java ferns and threw off the whole balance i had established and im getting more algae than usual..so i replanted some more java and im a litllte tired of making up batches , so i conned :) the wife into letting me step up a little and have a little less maintenance it the co2 area. i also picked up this glass diffuser

some one can correct me if im wrong ...but if not mistaken the jbj regulator only fits certain tank valves...
im sure i read this somewhere on the forum ...also everywhere that i look at the jbj regulators i do not find what kind of fitting it has.....if i am wrong cool...heres a link that you can see both the jbj and milwakee http://www.co2-canisters.com/ maybe you can phone and find out for sure

^^^^^thanks im gonna ask the seller also, maybe he might know.

hi. just an fyi i spoke to the seller and was informed that the jbj regulator will fit any standard size co2 tank..however i plan to call still and find out more from the link you gave me..thanks

As far as i am aware danski both the JBJ and the Milwaukee will fit a standard co2 cylinder.

okay well i placed my order for the jbj regulator and glass diffuser, all i need now is the tank. so wheres a good place to look? i read welding shops , paint ball places , and home brewery places but is one usually cheaper to fill or purchase from? thanks

that should be it to inject co2. of course i still need the tank though

thats a good reply, but im assuming that i can use the tubing from my hagen co2 system or am i wrong? is it the same size?
