I've never used anything except a airstone to diffuse my co2. so i might be doing something wrong -_- . There is absolutly writting on the package it came in. This is the second one i've had, broke the first one within 10 minutes of getting it  . I took out my airstone and just put this in it's place. It's been there since last night but still no bubbles  . There is some water in it, is this ok? i also get a lot of presure built up so i know there isn't a leak. So is there some magic trick to get this thing to work :wizard: ?

is this the line coming off of your co2 canister? is this a hagen system or diy? it took a while, couple hours for mines to bulid enough pressure with my hagen system..water in it is normal..kinda acts like a bubble counter..

It's DIY and the airhose connects directly to the bottles. What about water in the little pipe that you connect the airhose to, is that ok?

you talkin bout water physically in the glass diffuser? if so thats normal..you might wanna check for leaks..are you using soda 2liter bottles? if so it could take a while longer than the hagen cannisters to build up enough pressure..no experience with the 2l bottles.i would double check for leaks though..
do you have a pic of the diffuser your using? is this different than the regular basic glass diffuser?

right same one i have..water inside is normal..i suspect you might not have enough pressure to push the c02 thru the ceramic diffuser plate then..imo..hope that helps..

i used one with no problems on my hagen co2 system,so i think it should work.

pretty much..it creates very tiny bubbles which give better diffusion of the co2.

I've got something very similar from aqua essentials. but the cup is longer.
I use two Hagen CO2 canister with DIY formula.
It's bubbling away merrily. I think you need a fair amount of pressure to get it started as i tried blowing into the tubings to see what happens.

although you've got a large ceramic disc, all i've got is a small stream of CO2 bubbles from a tiny spot on the surface. But it's working.

hope this helps
