So at my lfs i got a red cherry shrimp and some java moss its achored by the drift wood on top of it. Any ideas how to grow this bad boy.

Do you want the moss to grow or the shrimp?? or both.

The shrimp will grow as long as its got food to eat, the moss will grow as long as it is in water and under light, I assume your tank has fish so they will do enough to provide fertilizer for the moss to grow, the Shrimp will feed of the microorganisms on the moss.

Simples :good:

^

Light, co2, and fertilizers in water. It will grow like crazy. :D

I have substrate laced with laterite and im using liquid co2 in a 20g tank with a 15w t5 bulb.

You can take some fishing line, and wrap it around the moss and driftwood. As the moss grows it will attach itself to the driftwood. It's a nice look :)
This is what my wood looks like, if it helps with some ideas :)

The substrate may not do any good unless you plan on actually trying to grow it on the substrate. I would also recommend adding liquid fertilizers as well. The co2 is good but plants need a good supply of everything in order to grow nice and big. :)

I also use fine fishing line to attach it to wood or rocks.
I don't use fertiliser or special lights & it grows like wildfire

just ordered 100g of this today :), what would best way to put it like a grass patch on the gravel?
