hello, i've just ordered some Java Moss about 2 days ago, so i'm waiting for them to come in.. have a question, should i plant these in a tank without any probs or should i make a tank just for growing itself, b/c almost all my plants get eaten and i can't figure out who is doing it. i think its the silver dollars but out of this list anyone know who could be doing the eating, want to know badly Thanks.

3x Tiger barbs
2x Green Tiger barbs
1x Dragon
3x Angel Fish
3x Blue gouramis
2x Silver Dollars
1x Pictus catfish
1x pleco
1x Iridescent shark
1x Rainbow Gourami
3x sunfin Molly's
2x chinese sucker fish
1x green cori
1x kisser gouriami
1x sunfin tetra
3x black tetra's
2x Grey danio's

silver dollars will eat almost any plants, also i think chinese algae eaters will suck on some leaves and strip them slowly, do you know the latin names for your tetras? some tetras will also eat plants.

Put some in a bit of water in a transparant container in a well lit position, this will help to replace the moss as it gets eaten. Java moss doesn't need to be completely under water to culture it, just damp is good enough.

your corys will too...mine are eating my java moss as i type this. also the pleco pry does a lot of damage, depending on the kind of plants you have. i just recently bought java moss too and i what i didnt use into a ball and in my 1.5 hex

Joy, well thanks for the response, guess i'll be getting rid of some of them to my brother. Thanks.
