Java Moss Blunder?

I had an algae outbreak and went to the blech bath method with most of my plants, which I typically do to great success. This time, however, I dipped my java moss, and it has subsequently looked quite pitiful. Will this come back or was this a fatal mistake? It's looking light in areas, even brown in other areas.

as long as there iis a bit of green life in it it should be fine, although it may take a few weeks.
