i'v read the pined topic on Riccia And Java Moss, creating a carpet for your tank i like the look but can only use jave moss cos of low light

so my Q is i want to Attach it to a plastic base would i have to scuff the plastic up for it to grip to or will grip to any thing

it will grip to anything as long as you tie it down. with fishing line or cotton

scuff the plastic, it has to have some indents to get a better hold.

Riccia will work and pearl under 1WPG of T8 with DIY CO2!!! Don't worry about the high light label it has. High CO2 plant

Unfortunately the camer aI had at that time wasn't good enough to capture pearling

The tank at this time had 2 x T8 18W tubes which were powered by a 2 x 15W ballast. therefore it is 30W light over a 33USG tank = 0.91 WPG
