Ok, I bought alot of Java Fern yesterday for £3 from my LFS, its quite good looking stuff in my opinion, however i'm still missing something at the back, another plant.

I am thinking about buying more java fern but I know its not to everybodies taste.

Edit I'm also aware the ferns don't always look so green and luscious due to the shoots growing on them.

This is how the tank looks now:

I'm basically thinking of doubling that ^.

Is this a good or bad idea?

Also, what good foreground plants are there?

I am struggling with what to put in the tank, and just want a professional look to it.

Maybe Amazon Swords?

Thanks,

Tim.

Can't go wrong with Crypts as a foreground plant :D

By which I mean plants like Cryptocoryne Becketti, Cryptocoryne Nevilli, Cryptocoryne Wendtii

Dwarf Sagittaria, Crypto wedtill, micro sward, Anbias barteri it's a small kind of anbias,

I have those plants in a low light tank.
