I can't decide which species of khuli I have. The LFS didn't know there were any species other than striped, black or albino

Oh hello Crossfire! Haha. No unfortunately they don't I did have a good hunt around to make sure. I think she'd just heard of them. I asked if they had any albinos, and she actually referred to them as 'white ones' in her reply. I don't think she knew a lot about them really.

Thanks for your help! Cue me desperately trying to count the stripes on them lol! But they're curled around a plant so I can't see for definite. I'll wait until they move. They're quite thick stripes!

I would like to try them myself but I think my JD would see them as a snack. Maybe in the future.

More than likely! If you do ever have anywhere to put them, I'd highly recommend them. They're fascinating! And so cute the way they cuddle up together. I think I'm in love already lol.

The numbers are in......1 has 10 stripes, the other has 11, meaning I have pangio semicincta!

Hahah! They're all technically kuhli loaches though, I haven't gotten to counting mine yet, so I don't know yet. How big are they? If they're still really small, they might not have developed all the stripes yet

Thanks they're well settled in now. They're really active too! Thought they'd be a bit shy, at least at first! Suppose it's because they have loads of cover. Always nice to know your fish are happy

20 wow! I can't for a bigger tank so I can can more. Not seen any pandas near me. Hoping to go for a trip to a different LFS one day. It's supposed to be one of the best in the country so I may be in there a while haha.
