something really amazing is happening

my cat oscar just made best friends with my dalmation molly, DAISY THE B*TCH

He moves his paw across the glass and seh follows it

they stare at each other alot and its really cool

oscar even licked the glass and the dalmation nipped aat where he was licking, amazing.

do you have any stories to tell?

When I first read the post (and the title), I thought you had a cat oscar fish (never heard of one but had heard of tiger oscars) and that it had somehow mated with the molly and made a cat like fish. Now that would be a fish worth seeing. Your cat probably hasn't made friends. He's probably thinking what a nice tasty snack the molly would make. And the molly's probably just taunting him since she knows she is safe in the tank.

actually i dont think so, since once one of my fishs died and my crewl friend tried to feed it to the cat and it didnt work.

as i use to have a hampster and the cat wasnt intrested. once the hamster got out and we woke up the next morning to see it sleeping in back fur of the cat.

we also have 2 budgies which like to sometimes nestle in his back fur.

hes never tried anything.

hes a great cat, got him from the human society i have no clue why someone abandoned him...but now hes mine!

mouhahahahahaha!

OMG that screwed with me too. I count the possibility of a catfish called Oscar, a 'cat-oscar', cat called Oscar, a dalmation called Molly, and a dalmatian Molly.

LOLOL got there in the end though!

My Maltese Kaija (dog, not cat) had an interesting relationship with my betta Fysh. I wouldn't call them friends, but it was pretty funny to watch. She would look down into his tank and whimper and whine, and Fysh would look up at her like he expected her to drop something in for him. She never actually pawed his tank (thank Heaven) but she would nudge it with her nose, and whenever he moved suddenly she would bolt about two feet away from him and look at me for help. We laughed at her an awful lot

I've been watching ever since for a simlar relationship between her and my later fish, but for some reason it was just Fysh who interested her like this. Maybe it was largely his response to her that got her so excited :dunno:

My shih tzu Mazi likes to sit and watch my 8" Jack Dempsey swim around in the tank. She likes it even better if I'm holding her while she gets to watch him.
