A couple of days ago I went to pick up a pair of Percs and some live rock from someone splitting their tank.
When I got there the percs were bagged up but the rock was taken out of the tank already.
It was damp still but I didn't know whether to take the chance and put that rock striaght into my tank.

So I mixed up some water in a bucket , stuck a heater in it along with a powerhead and put the rock in.
If there is no Ammonia reading if it safe to put it in the tank or should I leave it for a few more days and keep testing?
Any advice is glady accepted :D

If it was well cured in the previous owner's tank (and I imagine it was), AND there was no spike when you put it in the bucket, chances are exceptional that the rock is fine to put in the tank.
