I thought I'd share some pics with you all of my setups as they look now, I'm always changing things around and upgrading tanks, lights, changing plants etc, I've upgraded 2 tanks in the past 4 days. My panda corys used to be in a 15G with some amano shrimp but now they are in an 18G with a group of trillis & I added more amano shrimp. The next change was to my frog tank, I originally had them in a 5G but they are now in the pandas old 15G. All of the tanks are looking a little bare on the plant front, especially the goldie tank but I'm hoping to get some soon(as well as take excess from the 35G tank as the plants seem to be growing fast). Pics & info;

35G planted tank, T5 lighting, Co2, bottled ferts at the moment, aqua pro 2 filter(rated up to 80G's)
Inhabitants - 5 C.Melanotaenia(gold corys), 4 C.Aeneus(bronze corys), 7 otocinclus & 6 white cloud mountian minnows.

30G planted tank, ordinary T8 lighting(2 18W bulbs) & bottled ferts, fluval 305 filter
Inhabitants - 1 black moor goldfish & 1 calico telescope goldfish

18G planted tank, T8 lighting(1 x 18 w bulb), having to rely on api root tabs until I either get some powdered ferts(EI dosing) or liquid fert that doesn't contain copper, 2 x fluval 2+ filters.
Inhabitants - 6 C.Panda, 5 C.Trilineatus & 10 amano shrimp

15G tank, fluval 2+
Inhabitants - 4 dwarf frogs, looks a little cloudy as the sand hasn't completely settled yet, finished setting this up about an hour ago.

And lastly a picture of the corner of my living room that is quickly being taken over by tanks, it will have 2 4ft tanks in the next few months as well.

The frogs little 5G tank is tempting me, I might get a betta but really I should keep it to raise the tadpoles from my never ending supply of frog eggs!

Good to see the old rectangles back :) no more of this hex nonsense, nice one!

i think your tanks look awesome! =)
Usually i dont find goldfish tanks that attractive but yours is a real beauty
Do you ever run into problems with your goldfish eating your plants?

:lol: I'm so glad that thing is gone, it was a constant headache, rectangles all the way :p

where did you get the 2tier stand from???

I got it second hand off ebay with the top tank and a few other tanks, if you trawl through ebay or aquarist classifieds you can usually find some. Or you can buy them brand new on ebay(just type in metal stand under the fish section) and I think a few websites sell the 2 tier clearseal stands. I also have 2 4ft tanks on a double stand that will be going next to the ones I already have, 2 tiers are brilliant because you can fit twice the amount of tanks in the same space, or more as you could have a double 4ft stand with 4 2ft tanks on or 1 4ft tank and 2 2ft tanks, they are very sturdy as well!

Thanks :D The goldie tank looks pants compared to how it looked a few months ago but I had to close that tank down, long story, in a few months it will look much better. My goldies are very well behaved :lol: they rarely munch on the plants and when they do it's only ever a few leaves off the egeria. I always advise putting broader leaved plants in a goldie tank as it's difficult for them to eat them, also bitter tasting plants such as java fern / anubais should be safe. As with all fish it's down to the individual, some will destroy plants no matter what. My goldies don't get fed everyday either but don't nibble on the plants(only the odd time as I said), probably because they know they will be getting something much nicer soon.

Here are some new pics of the fish/frogs, in slideshow form to save posting loads of pics at once, just click on the pics to see the slideshows.

The 35G gold / bronze cory tank;

The 30G goldfish tank, you'll notice my one eyed fish ryuki, he seems to be fine with just one eye and doesn't have problems swimming, think my fave pic of him is the one with the bubbles coming out of his gills. My fav of kuuga(the black moor) is the one with his mouth wide open. My little girl loves blowing kisses to him and is always really pleased that he blows them back lol.

Here's the 18G Panda / trili tank, the single panda that is around the trilis in some of the pics has taken a shine to one of the female trilis and has now decided he's a trili too :lol:.

and lastly the frog tank, most of the pics are of my male frog who is a real poser,the females tend to hide in / under their moss cave or around the back of the coconut cave.

all your tanks look lovely great work :good:

Thanks :D They should look alot better in a few weeks once the plants start to fill out the tanks & I get new plants. By the time the tanks look really great I should have my 4fters setup and then it'll be all change again :p hopefully by autumn.

Your tanks look great! I'm still trying to figure out how to give mine that 'natural' look while using artificial EVERYTHING! lol
