Its About That Time....

Im not "finished" cycling...but Im going to call it finished. I'm processing 4ppm ammonia in less than 24 hours and I know that is more than whatever stocking I put in my 10 gallon will need. My nitrite spike has also come and gone. Gonna buy fish this weekend.

Im thinking that I DONT want livebearers....too many babies and no where to give them away to was a problem with the platys. Any suggestions?

Dwarf Gourami would be nice in a 10 gallon with some nice scaping

LOL well you were definately right. ended up with 30 some babies plus 4 adult fish..and NO ONE would take them.

Certainly would hope you wouldn't think that from a little "top of the head" list from me! There must be lots of other possibilities out there. I figure for you that small tank size and the poor availability that I remember you mentioning I believe as far as fish stores go will be major factors... Of course this might be a fun chance to here about a case of getting "shipped fish" in the USA as you are such a good reporter here!

argh....now I have to wait a bit. Got the boys to bed last night and realized it was tooooooo quiet in here. Took me 10 minutes to realize...my tank power strip had been unplugged. I have NO idea how long it was off but when I got up this am, I had 2.0 of ammonia. Back to the grind :::sigh::::
