So I have a divided 5.5 gallon with 2 male bettas. (Mad Hatter & Sweeney)

Had absolutely NO intentions of getting more fish. Bettas included. It didn't last long!

So on Saturday I was at walmart and there was this sweet looking white betta that had a couple red patches on its fins. Like it wants to be polka-dotted and failed miserably. She was so charming I almost bought her. I walked out wishing I had even though I have no place to put her.

Today, 4 days later, I was grabbing some odds and ends at walmart and did my routine look at the fish and was walking away when I noticed that little female in a really disgusting bowl just kind of chilling in a container surrounded by some males. Of course I was like, "Must...purchase!"

So I walked out of walmart with her. She's in a 1 gallon container at the moment until I come up with a permanent establishment. She may live in the container for a couple weeks until my boyfriend moves into his house towards the end of this month. I'm going to attempt to put her in a peaceful community tank that I may set up over there.

This is her in the new container. Some of her old water got mixed with the new...hence the grime. I'll have to clean it out. That's only /some/ of the grime. So just fathom more of that in one of those betta cups. Gross!

awwww she's a doll!!!! love her! I would have picked her up too!

She's a real cutie. I like how her tail is almost a perfect circle

Thanks!

She has a lot of girlish-like charm to her. If that makes any sense! I love her out-of-place spots because they make her unique.

Could be a young male, she has a long body, where's female usually are shorter and fatter. Wait about a month, if the fins dont get any larger than it's a female.

She was in a cup labeled Female, but hey...you never know. D:

She doesn't flare at my males. I showed her to them and she was just curious

Ha ha, well here's proof that they can surprise you. :)

my betta when I got him, labeled as a female-

Wow...that's quite a change!

Well, I'm hoping it is a female. *fingers crossed* She is probably going into a community tank. A gender change may damper my plans.
