Was trying to come up with a way to quiten down my durso/internal weir overflow and on another forum came across the " it depends" system. you drill a second hole below the main overflow and have a tap to restoct flow and siphon off 95% of the overflow leaving a very quiet almost silent trickle down into your sump. i really didnt wanna drill my tank again and turns out this 10AUD add on that anyone can make does the same thing, just tucks into the weir and back into your sump, no bubbles no noise!
Youve probably seen it all before but it solved al my bubble and noise nightmares so easily!
Pretty much a protoype till i get to the mainland and can get some decent plumbing parts. (bear with me on the mobile phone quality pics)
