Is your tank planted?

I'm curious, how many people have planted tanks, how many use artificial decorations, etc.

One of my tanks has live plants. One has a mixture of live and fake (hubby's tank). The other 2 tanks have artificial plants. 3 of my betta tanks have both and one has only an artificial plant.

Just live for me, fake plants never seem to look as nice IMO.

Don't like artificial substrate either actually, much prefer the natural look.

I have one live plant jsu for the novelty of it in a jar of sand in my glass bottom fry tank, I ahve two fake plants but don't use them cause they look fake, It's all rocks and a heavy coat gorgeusse so gorgeuse algae

Most of my bigger tanks are planted. All the fish seem to love the plants, so I'll probably be keeping them that way. Some of my small 5 gallon Betta tanks have fake, just because they are easier to deal with. And since they get water changes more often, I don't have to worry about uprooting the plants, and I can take them out and wash them.

I still like Planted better, though.

Planted all the way. Fake plants just don't look the part for me. Kind of like getting a Ferrari with deck chairs for seats.

I have both real and fake plants. I like the look of real plants, plus it adds oxygen.

REAL PLANTS FOR ME. LOOK MUCH BETTER. THOUGH HAVING PROBLEMS WITH CRAB AND LOBSTER NIPPING THE STEMS ON THEM. THEY MUST LIKE A BIT OF SALAD WITH THERE BLOODWORM.

My 20 is planted with straight vallis (i need to get some more), my 15 probably won't be planted (real or fake), both my 3's have fake (one has plastic, one silk) and I have a 1g plant 'hospital' that I've put all the odds and end plants that i found in my 20. I've got the 2 amozon swords that were going a bit manky, a tiny vallis and some wisteria that was getting crushed. Its quite cool, I've put a plastic rattlesnake in for that 'desert' feel

Only one of my three tanks is planted. It gets a healthy dose of ambient natural light and right now the banana plants are growing like crazy.
