Fish Crazy
Hey TFF
today i felt the urge to save my money and start a tank with 1 or 2 large comets (feeder fish)
there is a 5g aqueon bowfront acrylic tank for $45 and was wondering if this would be ok to house a large comet goldfish?
one reason i ask is because i've heard that the comets can get pretty big and and i dont want him or her to feel cramped up in the little tank.
also i know that goldfish are coldwater fish so i wont need a heater right? just a filter....
so my question is can i get one or two fish and is this proper to house a comet or will i need to bump up to 10g?
also i know this sounds like an impulse buy but i assure you if i feel that i dont want this fish i WILL NOT buy one.
here is the tank...http

also this is a tropical tank but its easily converted to coldwater
also should i put in aquarium salt?
