One of my guppys dropped 16 fry last night,i'm almost pretty certain its my yellow tailed guppy,shes the only one thats looks slimmer and her gravid spot has turned pinky has opposed to the dark gravid she had yesterday.
Now this guppy definately had 2 fry about 5 days ago,so is it possible they can drop the rest after 5 days?
I thought they normally drop within 24 hours?
You are correct. Is it possible that the fry were hiding for the last few days? But! It is also possible for females to delay birth for a number of days, if they are not happy with their surroundings for some reason.

I did trap her when i realised she had starting dropping,then released her about an hour later because she was stressing out trying to jump out
