Is This Okay?

I've been really wanting to get a female betta and I still have my male betta's 2.5 gallon tank. I was just wondering if it was okay if the tank has no filter or heater?

My 2.5 gallon has no filter, and had no heater for a while, I got a heater and a thermometer at a LFS for 11 bucks tho so there not too expensive, and this once has a self shut off and turn off once u get it staying at the temp that you want. I'd say it depends on how warm your water stays.

Heater and filter not required if your tank stays at a reasonably constant 25c or slightly higher, much below that and it isn't good for the fish, also you will need to do more water changes if you aren't going to filter his tank.
