My betta like lay on the bottom of the bowl that i keep them in. they sometimes just lay there and dont do anything looking as if they are just lounging around. is this normal for a betta to be doing this.

regular water changes, and as the size of its bowl im not sure but its pleny big for them.

it died 5 minutes after that last post i just made. it looked healthy. it stopped eating a day or two ago. and i kept the water regularly clean. RIP GRIZZLE

how big is plenty big? 1 gallon? 2 gallon? HOW regular? if it's 1-2 gallons its gotta be every 3 days.
bettas can be lazy, but it could also be boredom, or something more serious
can your bettas see each other? what do they have in their tanks to play with?
do they look healthy? colourful? no bloated tummy or sticking out scales?

sorry to hear about your fish :( it could've also been old age.

they were both in one of those bowls u can buy that are separated and u can lift a tab thing and then they could see eachother. one is stil alive. both very colorful and no spots at all or anything. looked very healthy. but i was not changing the water every three days though. more like weekly. i was changing 50% of the water. i still have the other betta and i want him to stay alive please help. oh and they did not have anything in their tanks to play with. just empty with gravel on the bottom.

if he's in an unfiltered bowl, change 90-100% of the water, prepare the water the day before so it's not too much of a temp shock for him.

unfortunately i still don't know what tank you're talking about, they don't sell anything like that in the UK.

not that is it?? thats highly unsuitable for any living creature, maybe a plant or a small snail, far too small for anything else.

 That's like cup-size! Heck, I think the cups my Petco bettas can in look bigger than or similar to that!

I too hope it wasn't that.
