Is this normal

Everytime my plec comes out of hiding for a munch

my dwarf gouramis dive bomb him an keep sending him back

what should i do cuz i cant shout at them n tell them to stop it

When you say dive bomb him do they try to bite or nip at him? What type of gouramis and plec do you have and how many and what size tank are they in/how many gallons does it hold? How much do you feed your fish on average and what?

its a 22 gal hes a common plec i dont know what kind of gourami they are but there small and dark orange i just know there dwarfs they try and nip him they sit at the top of the tank then dive down at him tryin to bite him i feed them once a day on flakes and he gets an algea wafer every night and there is a piece of cucumber in the tank at all times gets changed every 12 hours

22 gallons is not enough for a common plec, he will get much larger than the tank.

I don't know alot on dwarf gouramis, but its best you separate them from the plec or rehome them as i do know that if you get a bully fish they rarely ever stop their agressive behavior once started and im sure the plec will be getting very stressed out in there with them, and yes the common plec is going to need a much bigger tank too.

i have a 55gal tank in cycle now just waiting for that to finish and hes going in there just wonderin if i could do anythin now to prevent this
