She looks quite young but they can breed from around 3-4 months of age, but some look like their females and then develop into males up to around 10-12 months still

I really don't think that molly is carrying fry. I am a bit concerned about it though. Does it swim with its fins clamped like that all the time? That is definitely something that I do not like the look of.

well that's some good news anyway. I tried to get a picture of her today when she has her fins up but was not successful she's moving all the time. They're down when she's swimming around and her side ones flap around. when she's eating they're up and when she rummages around they're up. Does it make a difference that she only really young, I have one more that is smaller. I cant get a picture of that either lol.

At any age, I worry about them when they spend time swimming with fins clamped. To me it seems they are not comfortable when they are doing that all the time. If you just caught her at a moment when they were folded, that is different.
