Is This Final Stocking A Little To Much?

Well I am pretty much finished stocking my 29 gallon gallon after a year in the process. Full stock is:

29 Gallon:

6 Harlequin Rasbora
1 Keyhole
1 Opaline Gourami
1 Bolvian Ram
1 hifin Platy
1 Bristlenose Pleco
7 Kuhli Loach
6 Sterbai Cory
1 Upsidedown Catfish

I am thinking of remove the opaline for something else but if I did how much extra room would I have? Would I be able to add more rasbora or another shoaling fish?

I guess it all depends on what your filtration is like and how often you clean it. Someone will do the maths and give you the rule of thumb answer however - I had a 135 litre tank with standard filtration for a tank that size and cleaned it once every 2 weeks. It had alot lower stock than yours and I wouldn't have said it would have been healthy for the fish to put any more in however I now have a 180 litre tank with a high stock and decent filter, lots of real plants and clean twice a week so all depends on what you are willing to do to maintain a clean environement.

If your removed the gourami, you would have room for another shoal of small fish. Maybe this time go for Hengeli Rasbora or Espei Rasbora or add some more Harlequins for a bigger shoal. Try not to add more bottom dwellers though, you seem to have a lot of them already

I think I would up the Harlequin if anything, would it be better to up to 12 or a little less?

Is your Upsidedown Catfish a Synodontis nigriventris? If so, these fish are very social, just like cory catfish and your one would almost certainly love ~5+ conspecifics

I have three of thes at the mo, after getting the last stock at my favourite store, but I'm really keen to get another 3-5 asap.
