I recently aquired a Tilapie Mariae (Tiger) i did have a post running as it would not eat, I am glad to say it started to eat about a week ago and is doing well, over the last few days i have noticed that the sub torrane is slowly moving to the front of the tank, at first I thought I may have been a little careless when doing a water change and missed the ocean rock when I was filling the tank back up, but this morning I watched for quite some time as the Tilapia collected it in the mouth and deposited at the front of the tank, is this normal does anyone know why it is doing this , it shares the tank with a mastacembelus erythrotaenia (fire ell) they get on just fine, the Tilapie is about 5 Inches excluding tail, somone breaking up a tank was going to get rid of it (any way they could) I had set up a 36x15x18 120Ltr tank to start a Malawi tank but fell in love with the Tilapia as soon as I saw it any ideas Thakyou (Happy new year)
