Just saw this in a plant just near the top of my tank and I'm wondering if it's an egg. Not the best pic but there is a clear globe in the middle, surrounded by the fuzz. I read somewhere about fish eggs "fungusing" whatever that means. Is that what the fuzz is? I have forktail rainbowfish and spotted blue eyes. They've only been in 6 and 3 days respectively. Thanks.

Yes, looks like an egg with fungus to me. Maybe it came with the plant if it was recently added, if not then it must be the fish.

Nah the plant has been in for a while and that bit's fairly newly grown so it's come from the fish. That's pretty cool, I guess it means they're doing OK?

What does it mean when the eggs fungus? Should I take it out if the fungus is gunna do anything negative?

The egg growing fungus means that it has died or was never fertilized, best to remove it so that if there are any more eggs they have a better chance of survival

OK thanks. Given that I've only owned any fish for less than a week I'm not too keen on a population explosion but I'll remove it tomorrow when I turn the lights back on. Thanks for the quick replies.
