Is This Ammonia Ok To Use? See Pics And Vids

hi i wanted to know if this ammonia looks ok or if anyone has used it

i just want to double check as it does seem to throf and people have said the ammonia we need shouldn't, any replys are a great help.

hi i am just trying to make sure before i go poison my tank with soap etc. also tolak said it looked ok but you did say something to the effect off "it looks like the stuff but im not sure". i dont know tolak personally so im doing my best to avoid killing my new fish is all, but thankyou for posting that reply and your maybe answer today as that really does help newbies.

I used the same one you have pictured to cycle my tank and all was well. When the bottle is shaken you can get a few bubbles but they disappear instantly.

hi Liverbird36, well as you can see in my video links the bubbles in mine didn't dissapear instantly actually they stayed for quite a few mins but bubbles where popping straight away. but if you have used the same exact one as this then that reassures me alot. thanks for letting me know.

Yeah initially I wasn't sure but used it for the 3mths of cycling and didn't have a single problem. Hope all goes well.

hi all ok here is the update on the ammonia. Homebase sold two similar looking bottles of ammonia, one is value the same as mine and one in a very similar bottle but it doesn't say "value" and has a blue label. i contacted Challs International who make it for homebase and asked. The guy said the value ammonia does have other ingredients and is not just ammonia and water and certainly wouldn't be suitable if i require pure ammonia but he didn't specify the ingredients. also a guy in my work who has a few aquariums knew exactly what i was talking about in regards to cycling said the ammonia should not show any bubbles at all no mater how big/small and should be like water/paint thinners when you shake it! he said that's v important and any bubbles at all means poison to fish period (like the vaue homebase see video). today after work i went to an old bits and bobs hardware store in Liverpool and i purchased a bottle of (kleen off ammonia) for 1.70, when you shake this stuff, the bubbles created disappear instantly just like a bottle of plain water (exactly like water). this is what i got and also you can buy it on ebay if you have trouble finding it. nearly poisoned my new fish so glad i didn't take the first opinions on this (not having a pop at the few who tried to help me) as these fish are quite expensive i.e being imported. most people have tried to help (unlike some know it alls NOT) which i really do appreciate but its a learning curve.
