Is that all I need for the Co2 setup?
obviously I know I need to buy the co2 (so no smart comments)

I know about the reactors but I plant to buy a Reactor that will work with my Eheim,

Just I have no clue about hardware stuff like this

Yep that should do it (damn good price too, I paid a lot more for mine).


Oh yeah, get a drop checker and some 4dkh solution as well if you don't already have it.

And have to find a home for my neon tetras
as my 2nd tank has my red tailed shark in it,
and pray my danio and catfish get along with him

Once you get going it is actually not as complicated as it sounds. When I was reading up on planted tanks and CO2 ect it seemed really complicated. In fact it is dead simple (you can of course make it much more complicated if you like but I prefer simple ).yeah its the same kit. I cant comment on quality as I have never used anything made by them. I'm sure someone on here will have done though or at least heard something about them.

I'll keep searching, I got 6 days to buy it assuming no one else does.
Hopefully I can find a few reviews on it,

Like I allways say If paying 50 quid might aswell pay an extra 20 for something better,
thats why my tv cost me 700 quid in the end the extra 100 for my 32inch
for my bedroom

I understand the reactor you have with the co2 entering the bottom and the two pipes for the water but the Very top tube with the shut off valve whats that do

The different power connectors will be an issue wont they?

I forget to mention about that orange valve: I knew you would ask. all it is is an air release for any that gets trapped at the top.

All you need is a shaving adaptor from Tesco etc. German kit runs on the same frequency and voltage as us.

I think it will last a Long time on 125litre or something similar forgot exact amount but thats close to my tank

again I really appreciate the help as I have been going mad with this,

That's the one I went for after recommendations from Supercorey1. I must say, I am very happy with it, it is perfect and very easy to set up.

I made the mistake of not doing the usual research and rushing in, I bought my first small unit for the same price as this 'real' CO2 system and now I'm selling the old one on eBay So loosing money there!

The only thing I will be doing with this unit is purchasing the External Reactor that Dave showed you (looks and worked amazing I've been told) and getting a lily pipe set. I think with that, I will be extremely happy with my set up.

Good luck with it all, and don't worry about getting advice on here when you do get it. It is a little overwhelming when you first unbox it as there is some serious equipment there without any instructions. But the guys here saw me right (with BIG thanks to Supercorey1 (Andy)). Now I'm one of the guys who can help too

Also, the delivery is super fast considering it comes from Germany. Ordered on the Sunday night, received on the Wednesday morning

I'm happy you said its a good one to buy,
I was also going to buy a different reactor as I have external cannister,

Im umming and arring if I should buy a rich substrate, to put under my black gravel
My main concern is I'll make a huge mess when planting or is it meant to mix in nicely,
I was just going to use Root tabs,
and have a big amazon sword in the middle and carpet with Dwar haird grass and some other stuff when i think of it,
