    I think that’s green hair algae but I could be wrong.

    If there is an imbalance in light / nutrients that is triggering this and it threatens to take over you need to fix that. Otherwise just leave it.

    I managed to remove the source that caused my BBA outbreak several months ago. I have left some of it on the wood as it looks good and is causing no problems.
