I'm really not sure. Your guess sounds about right but if the tank is empty you could just pour in gallons until its chock full. Good luck

yep, it's 3.32 gallons and you can pack 8 inches of fish in there.

The lighting is adjusted for plants - some fish prefer dark conditions, and obviously these should be kept with low-light plants. In marine waters, corals from shallow waters require a high lighting level, which may damage deep water species. These values may be taken as a guideline.
