Hey guys,
Does this look like bacterial bloom? Tank has been like this since about 3 days after set up. It's now been about 3 weeks. Doing a fish in cycle with a few tetras (not pictured). Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0. This looked the same even after a 70% water change.

Yup. Though when I first filled up I used an old hose and had white water like this. Even after three 70% water changes there was no improvment. Then I brought a new hose and filled up, problem sloved.

I think the new hose clearing up the water was a coincidence. The water will eventually clear one way or another. When I had a problem tank that just would not clear up, I left town for 5 days. When I came back the tank was crystal clear. The fish weren't fed during that time, so I think that had a lot to do with it. It's been clear ever since (and that was last summer).

i haven't installed a bubble stone yet, will the added aeration help?

Nope, not really. Bubble stones are more for decoration than anything. Agitation at the surface is what adds oxygen to the water.
