is there such thing as a crowntail plakat as my dad bought 2 females awile ago now and 1 looks like a male. if it is a male it is a plakat and it also looks like it may be crossed CT. he said i can have it if i want but i ant to know if it is a definate male. can sum1 tell me how i tell if it is a male and also does any1 have any pics of a PKCT.
 
Yes you can get ctpk as far as i know, i think the betta lady has a pair for sale at the moment. If you have a look she has pics of the male and female which may help u to sex the one that you have x
 
it probably is possible, but a plakats fins are too short to Imagine a crowntail plakat. But I bet it is possible
 
it doesnt really look like a ctpk. maybe just a pk. not sure. i think it still could be a female its just when we got the 2 females, they were the same size but the blue one( the one i thought was a ctpk ) is got alot bigger than the red one i got with it. will keep searching.
ive just had a look on google and tbh i think its a female.
will get pics up on monday.

big als gets some nice fish, i plan on going there tomorrow to look at some girls, maybe another boy. going there is like going to an amusement park though... so much to look at. but yea, as you found out, there are indeed crowntail plakats, but be careful... i find telling plakats apart difficult sometimes.
