Is There Anything Wrong With My New Gourami?

after much thought i decided to add a honey gourami today.i brought it from a very good lfs.the only thing is that he/she is not orange.he/she is silvery with a dark stripe going through it and orange edges on the "bottom" and Dorsal fins .its very young but will it go orange??

ive never seen a honey gourami like this before??

well after a lot of research lastnight i have found out that my honey gourami is a female and they are normally this colour.today tho she has got more colour to her.i thought she had died lastnight tho.i went to check on her after a few hours of putting her in and she was laying on a plant of mine.soon as i put the light on she came shooting out.well this morning shes doing great.shes out and about swimming all around the tank.none of my other fish even notice shes there.i was a tad worried about her with my rams but for most of the night she was swimming with them and they were fine.they only bicker between themselves.

not yet but do you think i could add a male honey gourami to my stocking aswell?

Hey, I just got Honey G's myself. So far so good. The only problem is I think I got all males

I've heard these guys aren't quite as territorial as most Gouramis so I think I may be alright Mine are almost all yellow with a bit of silvery toward the top of their back.
