Does anyone know if there is a way to change the flow rate on a tetra whisper hob ex20?

I have a corner filter running in my tank that seems to do most of the filtering and my hob filter has so much force of water flow that it pushes the water across the top of the tank creating a huge ripple.

I have never owned that particular filter but I have used a cut piece of filter foam to partially block the output of my Aquaclear 50. You may be able to use filter floss as well, it doesn't realty change the flow but breaks the current before it enters the tank so that the water falls in more gently.
