I bought a 15 gallon aqueon column tank and it's set up with fake plants right now, but I'm considering switching to live plants after looking at some of the tanks on this forum. Anyone know if the stock light for that is good enough or a light that would work?

Am I correct in saying this is a 'full spectrum' T5 delivered with the system?

I'd guess it's aqueon's '6,700K Daylight T5 Fluorescent Lamp'

Yes, you can grow live plants with it, as it's spectrum has a nice blue and red peak...

Plus, i've grown plants with a regular white TL tube in an aquarium once (java fern). That thing produced buckets full of small offspring plants and shoots :D
