Hi,
I think that I might have a problem with one of my black mollies. Its eyes look very different to the other mollies, looking very silver, whereas the other mollies have pure black eyes, and it also seems to look more silver around the gills.

I have posted a video of it here.

I had originally posted in the New Freshwater Tank section - http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/374433-is-this-molly-ok/ - but it was suggested that it could be "double eye Popeye", and that I should raise it here.

I could be imagining things, but I did recently think that the eyes of some of the platies (especially the Red Wagtails) are more prominent than I remember them being.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Here is a video that includes the Red Platies who also seem to have prominent eyes.

Yes it does look like pop eye. that is IME caused by bad water quality.
What are the perims?
might want to wait on another member to help a bit more with some more info on what to do :good:
