Hi
I was wondering if a 90 ltr tank is big enough to start a chilid tank? Help with any fish i could stock would be appriciated.

yes. but not an all cichlid tank though, you could keep a pair of cockatoo cichlids in there with a school of micro rasbora, and cories

Dwarf cichlids would work, apistos or rams (not bolivian), what would the dimensions be?

its a hagen duo deep 600 cant remember the dimenstions. running a community tank at the mo but fancy doing something diffrent

Fluval Due Deep, 60*35 cm bottom, 40 cm hight, so that's only enough space for some of the smaller cichlids. Why don't you have a look at some of the fish that I recommend for a tank with a 60*30 cm bottom:
* South American cichlids: http://blog.natureaquarium.co.uk/?page_id=278#sa-cichlids
* shell dwellers: http://blog.natureaquarium.co.uk/?page_id=278#shell-dwellers

Basically, with cichlids, it is all about the territory area and your tank does not give you anything over a standard 60 litre as the extra 30 litres are in the height, not the bottom area.

It would also help to know what your tap water parameters are as it is best to not adjust them. If your water is soft to neutral, then something along these lines would work:
* 10-15 tetras of one species (soft water) or rasboras (neutral water)
* 10 Corys of one species
* 1m 1f (preferably start with a pair, not two individuals) Apistogramma borellii
