is my swordtail pregnant?

hi all, im new to the group and to keeping fish. can anyone tell if my swordtail is pregnant and if so is she due soon? thanks in advance x

Yes she is it probably won't be long until she gives birth.

She certainly looks pregnant to me. I would say she'll probably give birth quite soon though I cannot be more specific than that.

that's great, thankyou. I had another swordtail have babies but every single one got eaten, I felt so guilty and I am trying my best not to let the same happen again but not sure what the best thing to do is. I separated her in a breeding box but then read how much it can stress her out so let her go again. only had the tank a month and already had to fight off neon tetra disease and had one lot of babies eaten so ive become rather obsessed and spend most of my time watching them or talking about them. im driving people crazy lol. thank you all x
