I thought my Molly was pregnant, but now I can't tell anymore. I don't know if I just got used to her being big. She always seems very hungry, but I don't feed her a lot. I took a picture to see if other's could give me some advice. I had a male in the tank with her. Unfortunately, he passed away a few weeks ago because the tank had not yet fully cycled. I was changing the water frequently, but he didn't make it through. However, I am happy to report the tank is finally cycled and Sally(female) is quite happy in her tank. I have a 10 gallon tank and was going to get 1 more female and one male to make a total of 3 happy Mollies. However, if she is indeed pregnant then I would rather wait and try to see if I can raise some of the little frey to adulthood. Any suggestions and thoughts would be helpful!

She is starting to square off quite well. I would expect a fry drop in the very near future. That is from hours to days, not a week or any similar long time. We have a thread at the top of the livebearer section that follows a molly from one drop to the next with a bit of commentary along the way to help you understand what we see at each stage.
In my own case, I found that a well fed solitary female ate very few of her fry. That is how I was able to mix fry pictures in with the adult female pictures in that thread. She lived among her fry from one drop to the next, which was 6 weeks later.

This is great news! Is there anything I should know in preparation before hand? I will check out the thread you suggested. Thank you.

if you keep her well fed and provide many places for the fry to hide they may not get eaten otherwise if you want to you can get a net trap
