Fed him peas today cuz he was not eating. He ate the peas and is pooing them out now:

He's just hanging there not looking very well. Any ideas?

That a thick poo.
Any other symtoms to go on, he look healthy enough.
He's clamping his dorsal fin is this correct.
Have you tested your tank water.

Tested water and its ok. I got him and two females under a week ago. The females are fine and eating well. I just noticed he was spitting things out so fed him peas earlier which he ate. I would hope maybe he can eat normally now? I disturbed him from his trance and his dorsal perked up. He's just not very active just now or exploring like the females. Should maybe keep going with the peas? Atleast he's eaten today. :(

Could be spitting the food out as it a different brand.
Keep an eye on him as spitting can be a sign of gill flukes and internal parasites.

Well if he is dehydrated I can't treat him with salt. :(

If he's just hanging near the surface a lot then it could be gill flukes as these parasites make it difficult for fish to breath and so the fish hangs around near the surface a lot. "Anti velvet and slime" by interpet treats a variety of parasites including gill flukes, i've had success with it for treating gill flukes in guppys in the past.
He doesn't look particularly underweight or anything though, does he look skinny when viewed from above?

He's swimming about mid-water with the females now, but he wont accept chopped pea today. He's awfully slow at eating and chooses to chase they biggest piece of pea he won't be able to fit in his mouth. He's useless with sinking food so I'm thinking live foods might be an option. It's just ashame I can't get my hands on any. :( He did have a peck at a bumble bee shrimp  so I'm thinking he wants to eat

When viewed from above I think he does look kinda skinny but then I don't think males are meant to look fat?? Well not as fat as the females anyway.

Nah the males aren't supposed to be as plump looking as the females. I don't think he has internal parasites or anything else like that, the only other thing i can put my finger on is posibly internal bacteria, but either way i'm not certain on this either as the guppy doesn't really seem to be displaying any symptoms in particular apart from being a bit inactive. How long has he been like this for now?

got him last Sunday and I only really noticed him spitting out food about two days ago so I'm wondering if perhaps he hasn't been eating at all apart from the bit of pea he ate yesterday.
For the moment he looks fine and is swimming about with the females. Shall keep you posted. Going to try and get live foods to possibly help him and give my other fish a treat. :D

Update: He's eating dried foods now so I reckon hes just fine. A pic of him with normal poop and mingling amongst the plants:
