I was wondering if someone could please help me, I currently own a tank which is roughly 100-110 liters and have 15 fish i there.

I am currently using a Fluval 3 plus filter which came with the tank when i bought it and was thinking if to upgrade to a more powerful filter. I was wondering what you guys thought.

Is my current Fluval 3 pus powerful enough for this tank?

If not which filters would be suitable and also if i do get a new filter what would i have to do to ensure that it runs well in the tank and that the healthy bacteria still remains in the filtration cycle?

Thanks

Ste

Goal is supposed to be 5-10x an hour meaning if its ten gallon youd want a 50-10gph flow. My overstocked african cichlid tank is 46 gal and has 306gph (fluval 306) and it seems to be doin alright so far

Make a filter powered off of an airstone to supplement the filter you're already running..

I just ordered the tetratec in 1000 it does up to 200 litres just to be safe.... Nothing wrong with too much filtration :)

You can never go wrong with extra filtration and external is best due to the larger volume of the filter as well.

Only way to judge is by your test results i guess.
if your filter is keeping ammonia and nitrite at 0 and keeping your water clear then it is doing ok.
