Is My Better Ok?

Since putting him in his new tank yday, iv noticed like, bits of white fluff on the end of his fins. I seen it before when i was watching him swim about. Seeing as iv got two more fish im planning on putting in with him in a week or so's time, i want him to be in top health.

You're probably looking at a fungal infection, if its fluffy bits. Make sure the water is clean and the stats are good. Your probably going to need meds from the lfs too. Just tell them what the symptoms are and they are sure to have a fungal treatment.

You said you have seen it before? Why did you not treat then? If it is a fungal infection, you need the meds asap. Ordering on-line, you may not receive them till the weekend. And despite what people say about delivery of their products, it doesn't always work out. If you introduce new fish, that are under stress from travelling to the same water as this guy, you run the risk of the new ones getting ill.

No, iv never seen it before today. And i got some plants trought the post today, i dropped them into the tank, and he was swimming about, dodging me haha. anyways its like all fell off him, weather i got crap in the water yday or it was in the tank when i put the water in, and its sorta just stuck to him as he's swam round.

Like i said its all fell off him now, if it reapears ill get some treatment, but if not. I think he's ok.

Anyone used this stuff, and will it be ok for my betta, abit pointless me asking really with there being a betta on the box. But maybe you can surgest somthing better
