Is My Angel In Love

I got 2 young angels about 6 months ago. they are mottled gold and black and very healthy. at the time of purchase they were the same size but now one of them is double the other now. the bigger one (presumably male) was doing perfect cartwheels in front of the smaller one this morning. Is this a sign of maddness or is he head over heals in love with his mate.
