Is It Time For A Planted-Nano Sub Forum?

Should there be a seperate planted nano forum?

Dear all, bit of an open debate this one.

I love the forums, and think its great as it is, but notice that the planted forum seems to have 2 distinct themes running regarding 'normal' and 'nano/pico' planted aquariums.

I think a sub forum group would be a great place (within the planted tank forum) for planted-nano related posts (heck seeing as there is a marine nano-forum, it might well be worth creating a seperate fresh-water nano forum entirely.

What do you guys think? Would it be more helpful/more searchable etc. and would both planted/nano-planted topics gain more attention seperately then together?

I'll add a poll, just for a rough idea of feeling on the matter.

Cheers.

I don't think it'd be a beneficial addition personally, there simply wouldn't be enough traffic and I think the current section serves its purpose quite well.

I'm not sure it has to be planted, but a nano forum for sure. Like help with shrimp tanks and anything similar!

did anyone think of bringing this up with the planted mods? lol

I will just say, Liz and I are looking at changing things a little in the future. The planted section has got more traffic over the last 6-8 months. :good:

Thanks for ensuring the planted section gets more and more traffic.

BTW nurglespuss, is you nano journal even in the planted section?

Searching for new lighting for my nano now and would be loads easier with a section for it :)
