Is it possible to have either small plecs or some corys in with the fish I currently have (See sig) soon to be updating to 180 litre tank...

If so, what's the best type!?!

I would go with some cories. There are many different kinds you could get. I wouldnt buy any other fish until your other tank is fully cycled and all your fish have been in the tank for a while and are all ok.

Here is a link to a bunch of good information on cories...

Thanks, I'll check that out.

I won't be adding them for a while just want to get some idea on a particular fish in mind so I can do research on them before hand etc....

Really do like the look of the Cory's! In fact the look gr8, think it will be one of those.

All tho very keen on the zebra plec - but they seem to be real expensive and a bit of a risk for an aquarium that will still be relitively new.

I keep 4 peppered corys (used to be 5) in a 70 ltr which has the same dimensions as the 60 ltrs, only higher. Seems enough room for them to move about in, no problem. You need to get at least 3 of any cory, as they are schooling fish. Great little creatures and very peaceful. Bronze and peppereds are supposed to be the hardiest but are also the biggest. Pandas have a reputation for being very fragile, but bandits, which look similar, are said to be hardier.

It's a shame to hear about you loosing a cory @ least you still have the others :D

Am I OK in getting 3 Corys with the fish I already have in a 180 litre, I do not want to overstock?

Getting quite addicted to this fish malarki, don't want 2 go overboard want to make sure all fish I have r looked after 2 the best of my ability..

One other thing you might want to think about. The Zebra Danio you have is a schooling fish and needs to be in groups of 6 or more. They do not like to be alone, especially when they feel threatened. I have 7 and they are with always together.

Good Luck

EDIT: When you say baby molly fry, how many is that and do you plan on keeping all of them? Mollies can be very messy and will reproduce like crazy. The reason I ask, is like you said, you dont want to get overstocked.

We are planning on getting more zebra danio's, we did originally have more but they passed away :(

We only have the one baby so far...think the others must of been eaten, possibly more in 4-6 weeks..

Deffo planning on keeping this baby, not sure should there be LOADS more.

C we only have female mollies, she must of been pregnant when we got her so will have 2 wait and find out.
