Is It Okay To Feed Gsp's Snails More Than Once A Week?

Hey, I have a million snails all over my backyard after it rains and was just wondering if its safe to feed then to my GSP more than once a week. Everywhere I have read says to feed once a week to keep their teeth trimmed. I don't want to hurt him by feeding too many, but he seems to love them and its fun to watch. So was just wondering what you guys think.

They're safe for humans to eat, so I can't imagine they are intrinsically toxic. My only worry would be pesticide residues and the like. So if you collected them from a wild wood that might be okay, but a garden could be risky.
