Is It Ok To Take Away My Bubbler From Krib Wigglers?

So 2 days ago I pulled my krib's eggs. They where eating them all (yes I know, should have left them with mom and dad) but now I have wigglers, like 40 of them. And I am just wondering if it would be ok to pull the bubbler from the wigglers. Just would like to know. I dont plan to but I am curious because I have never read anything about it.

Leave it next to the eggs/fry until they are free swimming. Once free swimming replace it with a mature sponge filter.
