Oh now, I sorta get it, u mean use cold water for water changes ?

I think this is fine, but it depends on how much for change, cause more could affect the temperature too much and make your fish ill.


I personally dont use coldwater, i first heat it with a aquarium heater, then add it to tank, after dechlorination

if your gonna run the water in slowly, eg with a hose then yea go for it.

jus put a thermometer in the tank and make sure the temp doesnt drop 2 much 2 quick.

mine normally drops about 2 degrees and i refilling takes about 30 mins.



dont jus pour buckets in tho cos that will drop the temp too quick.
