I had my tank for about 3 months now i was a noob and didnt know anything about them i added my fish sum have died most have survived indun daily water changes and 3 months on my ammonia and nitrite is 0 as is my nitrate so is it cycled i always thot it wasnt if it is i want to change to sand can i do this and put fish in bucket will it effect my levels or will it be ok

your nitrate should not be 0?? it should be very high.

Just checked ther and again its at 0

Just checked ther and again its at 0
Note i do waterchanges every 2days cos i thot it was still cycling
 
If you are cycled, you should have some reading on the nitrate test, even a low one would be better then 0. Try banging the bottle #2 of the Nitrate test against a table a few times and shake it good....then do the test...

Awe cheers i took ure advice it is showing at about inbetween 10-20 ppm is this good
 
Don't change any water for a week and if the ammonia and nitrite stay at zero and the nitrate increases then you are cycled.

I agree. Test your water every day. If there is 0 ammonia and nitrite then yay, if not then you need to do a water change. When you get both 0 for seven days in a row, then you can consider yourself cycled.
